I am driven by a desire to make sense of the world-self. I see the past as a key figure of my experience and I spend a lot of time learning about it, thus making it another malleable material to work with.
My work is project-based and moves freely between different materials and techniques as well as art disciplines, following a playful and intuitive call. Moreover, I would describe my practice as process-driven, in the sense that it’s constantly being re-evaluated as I reflect on it and move on to the next decision. As a result, I prefer not to define everything right from the start. Ideally, I would enjoy a narrow scope of freedom up to the last minute, by leaving my final decisions to be made while installing the work in the exhibition space.
